    Default frederick cyril Denson

    Hi everyone.
    he seems to have disappeard.

Frederick Cyril Denson b1913. (aka Frederick Cecil Denson).
    1st marriage Leonie R. Pryor 1915. div 1927.
Frederick remarried Beatrice May Estella Moore 1928 Sydney nsw.
from there on, I cannot find any sighting of both Frederick or Beatrice.
no death, no remarriage, no electoral roll.
have tried immigration records to England, USA, NZ. have tried death records there as well.
have tried different spellings of Denson.
cannot even find the correct parents of Frederick and Beatrice.

on his two aust marriages, he states his father is Horace R. Denson.
    but cannot find him either.

    any suggestions.

It's World 'Spot the typo' day.
If Frederick was born 1913 he's unlikely to have married in 1915.

Do Aussie marriage certificates give a country/place of birth?

Re Horace R Denson, there's a birth registration on FreeBMD for a Horace Russell Denson, June quarter 1876, Cambridge registration district. He'd be old enough to be the father of someone born in 1913, but not old enough to be the father of someone who married in 1915.

    I say typo re birth.
on marriage certs, its up to the bride and groom to put their correct date and place of birth and parents names.
    sometimes this doesnt happen,

So if you made a typo, what should you have given as Frederick's birth year if 1913 is incorrect?
And what place(s) of birth does he give on his marriage certificates?

There is a 'Missing Friends' article in the NSW Police Gazette of 6 Aug 1919 placed by his then wife, Leoni Ruth Denson. She describes him as Frederick Cyril Denson aged 29, 5ft 11ins, stout, dark hair, eyes & complexion, clean shaven, has a mark on his adams apple from an operation, missing tooth on upper left of jaw, She also describes his clothing and says he has been missing since 28 Jun.

But anyway, an age of 29 in 1919 puts his birth at c1890

I think there may well be a connection though, as Horace Russell Denson became an engineer captain in the royal navy, but also served in Australia. He is listed at the Sydney Dockyard in 1913 "Lent from Royal Navy". There is also a document for him on Fold3 listed as Australian WW2 Service Records but the dates are clearly WW1. It seems he was with the Australian Navy from 1 July 1913 to 19 Feb 1917.

Frederick could therefore be someone who served with him and later 'adopted' his name as an alias for some reason? That said, he first seems to appear in the Electoral Rolls in Sydney in 1915 listed as a metal worker. At the same address is an Annie Denson, occupation 'domestic duties"

My apologies, Frederick Cecil Denson first appears in 1913 (not 1915 - my typo) at 24 Dudley Street, Paddington, along with 'Annie Denson' whoever she may be.

In the same year Horace Russell Denson and wife Ethel are at Garden Island in the Castlereagh Place polling place.
